Hyena’s like all lycanthropes have their own unique power’s which they do not share in common with other lycanthropes. These powers which are listed below are unique to them and may only be used in the case of a character being a Hyena and or a panwere. Keep in mind you may pick only have Two in total of these unique powers, that is unless you have chosen to take “Destiny’s Chosen” at Weak Moderate.

Giggle - Weak Moderate : a Hyena can release a small giggle while in human form that will cause people with no meta physical image to shy away from them, those who can sense meta physical energy feel the ebb of the hyenas “madness” and give it a wide birth, the closer to the Hyena using its level the more likely you are to leave it alone.

Scrounge – Weak Moderate: Hyenas are amazing scavengers and they can not only eat pretty much any thing, but they can eat less and stay fit at the same time, a hyena with this ability doesn’t have to eat as often or as much as other lycanthropes and does not run the risk of starving if they have eaten in the last 48 hours, in game turns they will also not shift due to hunger until it hits starvation.


Iron Jaw – Moderate: Regardless if a Hyena is in human form, partial shift, or full on animal form a Hyena with this ability retains the strength of its bite in all forms, meaning if they bite you in human form your bones still going to splinter with there strength of bite and possibly if they get a good grip bitten off.

Lock Jaw - Strong Moderate: People didn’t like you before when you bite them due to the amazing strength in your jaw, now when you bite people you can choose to lock your jaw and hold onto the limb until its been severed off, only a lycanthrope of equal level or higher can attempt to pull you off.

Hysteria - Weak Alpha: A Hyena can now burst into a fit of laughter that becomes infectious and immediately sends every one into gut busting laughter, this can effect an area as big as ten feet (increasing by +10ft every level after). Every one caught in the range and can hear, even powerful vampires are compelled to laugh, soon the pain wracks there body and they pass out, this only works as long as the Hyena using it continues to laugh themselves, once they stop (other then to take a quick breath). This power only works on sensitive humans, empowered humans, vampires and lycanthropes, null humans are not effected by the sound of it due to there lack of meta physical energy required for it.

Establish Dominance – Alpha: Due to the conflicting types of primary Hyena, spotted and stripped, this ability grants to each there own, Female dominant (Spotted) gain the ability of increased damage against males (treated as being just slightly more powerful to give them an advantage if they where equal level) The same goes for the males of the Stripped Hyenas.

Shattering Grip – Alpha: Remember those powerful teeth you have? Well its come to your attention now you can sever pretty much any thing in a single bite now, your teeth tear through steel like tin foil, limbs like butter and car tires like doughnuts.

Tough as Nails - Strong Alpha: Hyenas are tough critters believe it or not, they frequently get in fights with lions and make it out alive, they have been known to go into actual wars against prides, because of this Hyenas are Fearless at this stage, they cannot be induced with fear magically or even through meta physical means, they are just simply put, not afraid of nothing.

Gender Bender - Strong alpha: Hyenas with this ability have a unique form of changing there form (You most have Body shift for this ability) you can do more then just slightly alter your appearance, you can change genders, skin color and eye tones still can only go so far, but you can shift your mass around and even create the opposite genders sexual organs, the specific’s of their shift is up the player.
