[orange]Freshly Turned[/orange] Congratulations, you've been fed from for three times and have now risen as a Newly Turned vampire. You've had your first meal and you're ready to take on this whole new world. Theres not much of a choice on your powers but at least you're starting off somewhere.Vampiric Bite - The Main form of obtaining sustenance for vampires. Any person bit by a vampire will forever be linked to that vampire (some powers allow to reconnect with someone bitten). Biting someone repeatedly will put them in the Vampire's power. The bite is merely to open the body, the tongue is used to massage the muscles to cause the victim to bleed. Enhanced Strength and Speed - All vampires are stronger and faster then that of a normal human. The older you are, the more enhanced these abilities are. While not near a lycanthrope's abilities at the same level, the vampire is still capable of giving most things a run for their money. Enhanced Healing - All vampires have some manner of enhanced healing starting after rising. Normal wounds will heal quickly (healing is increased after feeding) although silver, fire and wounds inflicted by lycanthropes will take longer to heal. Aura - At this point that the newly turned vampire realizes that they have new mental abilities they wouldn't have had as a human. While incapable of using all their abilities, this gives the Vampire a definite prescense on the metaphysical side of things. After this, their aura will continue to grow and develop as they gain in strength.

[orange]Fledgeling[/orange] While you're no longer the Newly Turned, you're still somewhat on the weak side of things. You hunger, you thirst, you're dependant on your sire for all things in existance but at least you're starting to get a handle on being the undead. Detect Lies - Those Nifty senses of yours allows you to figure out when someone is lying. To you, it's like a taste at the back of your throat when you know they're not telling the truth. Sure, it's all in your mind but at least you know. Shields - You can shield yourself from others. This is a metaphysical force, allowing you to keep yourself from being felt by other preternatural creatures. It also allows some protection against the mental attacks of others. Stronger creatures will still be able to ignore your shields however.

[orange]Adolescent[/orange] Congratulations, you're the meat and potatoes of the vampire world. This level means you're the common type of vampire. The weak one that can't do much without the aid of someone nearby, but at least you're not going to snap and rip someone's face off in a need for food.Mind Rolling - A vampire can place a victim into a hypnotic state via meeting their gaze. This levels up with the Vampire. The only way to break being Rolled is for the death of either the Vampire or the Victim. A lycanthrope can be rolled but it is harder to pull off then rolling a human. Blend In - The vampire can blend in with the populace around them. This just allows them to appear from a distance as if they were human. The stronger the vampire, the more likely they can actually fool someone at closer distance. Resist the Need - At this level, you can finally start resisting the call of blood. Forcing yourself to resist for any amount of time is still dangerous and may result in you losing control and feeding from anyone you can sink your teeth into. An hour, max, is how long you can go at Adolescent level. This will slowly increase until you can abstain for almost twenty four hours as a Master. Choose 2 of the following: Call Animal - [Specify which animal you can call] You're capable of summoning an animal to your side. This includes both a normal and alpha version of the creature (provided that there are both). The animal called cannot resist the call unless they are Alpha Lycanthropes. Fake the Food - Using their gift of illusion, a vampire can make it seem like they are eating. The food, however, will remain there. The stronger the vampire, the more convincing the illusion and the more people they can maintain it for. Like a Human - This power allows a vampire to actually consume food and drink. However, they can no nutrients from it and must vomit it all back up later. The stronger the vampire, the longer they can hold the food down before they need to expell it. Call Shadows - This power allows a vampire to call shadows around themselves to mask their appearence. The stronger the vampire, the more shadows they can summon. A Master level vampire can shroud a small area around himself in shadow. Keep in mind that this is highly noticable by anyone with common sense. Alter Memories - Requires the victim to have already been mind rolled. The vampire can edit memories at this level but as they increase in level, they can delete memories and create new ones.

[orange]Elder[/orange] Congratulations, you're no longer the weak type of vampire. You're starting to become more badass, you can even wake up on your own without being tied to a MotC. No rotting in the morning for you... unless you are a rotter of course.Telepathy - You can communicate telepathically with perceptive people (shields down) and any sired offspring (regardless of shields). It is much easier to communicate with someone that has been bitten in the past. At Elder level, you can only communicate with one person but it will increase to five when you reach Master Level. Defense Reflex - At this point, if you're endangered during the day, your body will react instinctively. Most times it will be to move to avoid danger (attacks, flames) but these movements will only be short and jerky. This power is automatically active but your body will only move for a total of five minutes before collapsing back into the undeath sleep. Keep in mind, this defense is only against direct attacks. Servants - (List their name and Servant Type) At this level, the Vampire can mark servants to his aide. Choose 2 of the Following: Blood to Blood - This allows the vampire to swap out any one core power for additional bloodline power of any level the Vampire has reached. In addition, they can select an additional power of Elder level. Pass Over - People are litterally mind blind to you. Attempting to pick you out of a line up just results in them skimming past you to the next person. This is not an active power and must be focused on for it worked Not Your Father - You can mask your prescense from the vampire that has sired you for a short time. Their tie to you is still strong enough that they will discover you almost instantly after you have ceased using the power. This power will make you seem like an empty spot to them so it will be obvious that you are using the power. Levitation - You are capable of minor levitation off the floor. You cannot move in any direction on your own but you can be moved by gusts of wind. At the Master level, you can levitate an object or person of roughly the same size as yourself. Auric Attack - You are capable of using your aura as an attack against another preternatural. This has to be someone that is either Vampire, Lycanthrope or a human with a power. They need to be able to perceive the preternatural world.

[orange]Master[/orange] The epitome of Vampires. You're now strong enough to withstand pretty much anything on the metaphysical side of things. You are the enforcer, the protector and all around bad ass. In a city, you're either a loyal member of the Kiss or a threat for the Throne.Hear the Spawn - You are capable of communicating with all vampires you have sired. The closer the vampire, the more complex a conversation you can have. If they are on another continent, it will be nothing more then a feeling. Protect the Spawn - You are capable of protecting the vampires you have sired so long as the aggressing force is not from a stronger Vampire or the MotC of your offspring. This protection can only be used for one sired vampire at a time and will greatly weaken you. You can use any defensive power in your arsenal at two levels lower then normal. Choose 3 of the Following: Auric Knife - (Requires Auric Attack) You can actually use your aura to inflict physical injuries on people. Using your aura against theirs, you can lash out and cut them as if you were weilding a blade. You do need to be able to see the victim to use this ability. The Voice - (Choose voice trait) Your voice has an unusual quality to it. You are capable of mind rolling people with the mere sound of your voice. Because of this, your voice always has a specific trait (like conveying a specific emotion or evoking a sense of touch for a specific material). Early Waking - You are capable of waking before the sun sets, allowing you to become a safer individual in general. While the sun will still kill you, you can at least move around in doors. Day Walking - You are capable of being awake during the day. However, the longer you stay awake during sunlight hours, the more you will need to feed in order to replenish yourself. Wither - You can reduce any vampire you have sired to a withered husk. You can also reverse the withering you have done. Flight - (requires Levitation) You can now fly through the air as if you were Superman. You can also carry another person with you provided they are not overly heavy. Resist Silver - At this point, you have some ability to resist damage done by silver. You are not immune to it but you will now heal at a faster rate. Usually, you have gained this by regularly cutting yourself with silver. Resist Sunlight - (Must have Day Walker) The Vampire has finally gained the ability to resist sunlight for short amounts of time. This will allow them to exist out in the day so long as there is cloud cover or in shadows. Should the cloud cover break, their body will withstand long enough to get to cover.

[orange]Master of the City[/orange] You are guy in charge. When they talk about the Man, thats you. You are the strongest vampire in the city and the Kiss is bound to you.Draw the Power - With this ability, the MotC can draw power from all the vampires marked to him and increase his own strength. This is only temporary. Sense the Kiss - This power allows the MotC to reach out and sense the members of the Kiss. Mark the Kiss - This allows the Master to mark a vampire into the Kiss. This increases the power of the MotC with each new vampire tied to him. Call the Kiss - This power allows the MotC to send out a metaphysical call to all the members of the Kiss within the city. Those outside will be compelled to check in via communication but will not feel the compulsion to return. Give Power - The MotC can give power to a lesser vampire to increase their abilities beyond their normal level. This is only temporary. Guard the Kiss - The MotC can metaphysically protect the Kiss from other stronger Vampires (Council, Harlequin, etc). This power is usually only used when someone is attempting to attack the Kiss to weaken the MotC. Take Power - The MotC can reduce a vampire of the Kiss to a living corpse via their impressive will. This works on any vampire regardless of level but cannot be done during combat or challenge for the MotC position.
